Dog exercise: Does the body good!

To paraphrase a saying, ‘Exercise…it does the body good’. That’s true for us and for our dogs. We love seeing our dogs at work and play.  Each day during our dog daycare we make sure that each dog gets appropriate exercise which is key to maintaining fitness and health.

As a dog trainer, I love it when a dog works and thinks motivated by food. Combined with exercise like we offer in our Fun Agility and Advanced Fun Agility Classes, your dog can experience a calm state of mind where they like working and playing with you. Especially if you have a dog that is ‘high energy’ or anxious.  Exercise and structured activity calms them and allows you to work on their handling skills.  Here are some other benefits of dog exercise:
