Social Obedience: Playing well with others

“Calm, respectful and a happy member of your family”.  That’s the goal of social obedience training for you and your dog.

Some of the common concerns that dog owners have include:
  • acting aggressively around humans
  • not getting along with other dogs
  • distracted
  • not responding to commands
Teaching your dog how to be more social will address these and other behavioral challenges.  Walking nicely on leash, coming when called and obeying commands…these are the benefits of social obedience training.  Regular contact with other dogs in a training class situation helps your dog read cues from other dogs and helps them figure out their relationships to people and places.
